Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to lead the financial operations of our Grid Restoration division. In this role, you will be responsible for developing union and non-union rate sets, preparing and submitting bids, auditing subcontractor invoices, managing client invoicing, and overseeing a team of billers. A strong understanding of IBEW rate structures and hands-on experience in the utility services sector are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain competitive union and non-union rate sets tailored to region and project requirements.
- Prepare, submit, and track bids for utility, co-op, and municipal clients.
- Audit subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Create, submit, and manage client invoices, ensuring timely processing and payment tracking.
- Lead and mentor a team of billing professionals, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and field teams to ensure financial alignment with project goals.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in financial management within grid restoration, damage assessment, or vegetation management sectors.
- Deep understanding of IBEW rate structures and their application to project bids and billing.
- Strong analytical and auditing skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Prior leadership experience managing billing or finance teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
